01Data controller

The data controller is MKT CHN L.L.C., which operates the Ask-it brand and publishes the site (see the legal notice). For any question: contact@ask-it.ai.

As MKT CHN L.L.C. is established outside the European Union, it has designated a representative in the Union (Article 27 GDPR): Alice Rota, alice.rota@ask-it.ai.

This policy covers the ask-it.ai website. Data processed in the app.ask-it.ai platform and data about visitors to our clients' stores are governed by the platform's policy and by our terms of service (“Personal data” section), in which Ask-it acts as the brand's processor.

02Data collected and purposes

The site measures its traffic with Google Analytics 4, only if you agree. It uses no advertising trackers. The figures shown on the site (diagnostics started, etc.) are aggregated, anonymous statistics.

03Cookies

Strictly necessary cookies, which do not require consent:

  • askit_lang: remembers your chosen language (12 months);
  • askit_consent: remembers your choice about analytics cookies (6 months);
  • bld_<project>: session for the client builder area (30 days).

Analytics cookies, set only if you accept them in the banner:

  • _ga and _ga_<id> (Google Analytics 4): distinguish visits and measure how the site is used (13 months).

Until you accept, none of these cookies is set: Google only receives anonymous signals, with no cookie or identifier, used to estimate traffic. You can change your mind at any time with the “Manage cookies” link at the bottom of every page.

The booking widget (iClosed) may set the cookies it needs to work when you use it. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts servers, which sends your IP address to Google.

04Recipients and processors

Data is intended for the Ask-it team and is never sold. It is processed by the following providers:

  • Vercel (website hosting, United States);
  • iClosed (demo booking);
  • Resend (sending onboarding form emails, United States);
  • Google (fonts, and Google Analytics traffic measurement if you agree, United States).

Transfers outside the European Union are covered by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

05Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to and port your data, and to set instructions for what happens to it after your death. To exercise these rights: contact@ask-it.ai. We reply within one month.

You may also lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, the CNIL (cnil.fr).

06Security

Traffic to and from the site is encrypted (HTTPS). Access to data is limited to the people who need it.

07Changes

This policy may change. The date of the last update is shown at the top of the page.
